The LUFKIN 86 is a 3/4 In. x 2 Ft. steel blacksmith’s rule, which is used for converting diameters directly to circumferences. The riveted joint has a large side washer and a stop which brings the rule to a firm stop when opened straight. Markings are black and are permanent and deeply etched. Lower edge on one side graduated to 1/16EHS of an inch and other lower edge is 75 circumference inches to 1/8ths of an inch.
